Country music artists including Roo Arcus, Lachlan Bryan, Tori Darke, Luke O’Shea, Kirsty Lee Akers and Simply Bushed will join Tamworth Region Mayor, Col Murray and the 2016 Queen of Country Music entrants who are all competing for the unofficial 2016 title of ‘Best Barefoot Bowler’.

"The atmosphere is always fantastic at the bowls day and it’s a great opportunity for everyone to relax and have some fun during Festival" said Cr Murray.

"We expect a great turn out to the event and encourage anyone who wants to witness some light hearted competition to come over and enjoy the event" added Cr Murray.

The event is to be held at the South Tamworth Bowling Club.
