Tickets for the Australian country music industry's night of nights will go on sale this Friday 10 October. The Country Music Awards of Australia, now in its 43rd year, are the nation's longest running music awards concert and the pinnacle event of the Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2015.
Early bird tickets start from just $45 for the 24 January event and are on sale from this Friday until 31 October. Festival fans can get their tickets through internet, phone and ticket outlets at the Capitol Theatre Box Office, Tamworth Regional Council's Ray Walsh House and The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre.
Festival Director John Sommerlad says the Awards, regularly referred to as the Golden Guitars, are at the heart of the journey for artists and fans alike. The night gives fans the opportunity to rub shoulders with the biggest names in country music and see all of their favourite artists perform in one huge show.
“The Awards will once again be a fast paced concert made up of the cream of country music. You will see special performances that you won't see anywhere else.”
“We encourage people to get into the spirit and come early and enjoy the forecourt entertainment and watch all the stars arrive.” “The Awards event will be an intimate, 'up close and personal' night with over two hours of non-stop entertainment and special magic moments,” said Mr Sommerlad.
The Country Music Awards of Australia will be held on Saturday 24 January 2015 at 7.30pm at Tamworth Regional Entertainment Conference Centre (TRECC). The event kicks off at 5.00pm in the TRECC forecourt with live entertainment and the red carpet arrival of Australia's hottest country music stars.
The Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2015 is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW. The Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth 2015 will be held from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 January.
